Looking forward to seeing you this season! Welcome to our 10th Season!
Ghosts of Staunton Walking Ghost Tours have recently been featured in the Daily News Leader and the News Virginian
(A Hauntingly Good Time for the Entire Family)
Staunton, Virginia known as "The Queen City" of the Shenandoah Valley was founded in 1747 & named after Lady Rebecca Staunton, wife of the colonial governor of Virginia, William Gooch. Staunton is located in the heart of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley and is rich in history, some prosperous and some tragic. Often times with history, left behind are many ghost stories and hauntings that still exsist to this day. From civil war haunts, a devoted and caring principle to a young opera performer killed in 1890, Staunton has had its share of unusual events that continue to haunt us.
Join us as we explore downtown Staunton on a 90 minute walking tour. Our tours offer many ghostly tales and experiences, along with historic facts of Staunton's past. Our guides are all experienced paranormal investigators who will share some of their opinions and theories of such haunted locations. Does Mary Baldwin haunt the school named in her honor? Does Miss Myrtle Knox roam the depot station looking searching for a way home? Come hear their stories......
Sightings of Civil War Soldiers at the Depot Station happen on occasion.
