HISTORICAL TOURS

Established in 1849, Thornrose Cemetery is known as one of the most historic and beautiful
cemeteries in the country. From confederate soldiers to some of Staunton's most prominent
citizens, Thornrose Cemetery is known as the Crown Jewel of the Queen City. Join us for a
90 minute tour as we discuss the history of this beautiful cemetery and some of the historic
individuals who are buried here.
Tours last 90 minutes and depart from the front entrance of Thornrose Cemetery,
1041 W. Beverly Street. Tours leave rain or shine so please dress accordingly.
Tickets prices are Adults -- $12, Children (6-12) -- $6
Tour is not recommended for children 5 and under
Tours are are available every Saturday & Sunday afternoon at 3 pm for the month
of October only. Reservations must be made for this tour! No Exceptions!
